Labor Day Event at the Pool

Labor Day this year is on September 5th and the Board would like to have a Labor Day celebration in honor of our first responders. With all of the negativity in the country towards police and first responders, and the tragic events in Dallas and Baton Rouge we thought this would be a great way to show that we  appreciate their service to us.

We want to invite of course our off duty officers, officers from North Division, and our fire fighters.

To have enough food we thought that we could have a BBQ cook off. The items to be judged will be Ribs, Hamburgers, homemade Potato Salad and Pinto Beans. The items will need to be homemade and fixed at home and brought to the pool. We want to keep this simple and as cost effective as possible for the people entering the contest. Of course we will welcome anything that someone wants to bring food wise, but the above items will be the only ones judged. If you fix hamburgers you will need to supply the buns and the fixings. We can expect to have to feed a 100 or more people so please take that into account.

If you plan on entering the contest please RSVP to my email address or to Kendra.
