Please plan on attending the meeting. If you are unable to attend, please fill out the proxy which you received in the mail in December and return it to Beacon Management.
Civic Committee News & Information
Residents gathered once again for our annual Holiday Party at the Forest West Community Center. Tom Demary cooked his famous gumbo, and many residents brought delectable treats and side dishes to go with the meal. Santa made a special appearance for our youngest residents. Children were able to share their wishes with Santa in the Community Meeting Room. Special thanks to Roy Smith for dressing up as our Santa this year!
The next Civic Committee meeting will be on February 24, 2015, 6:00PM, at 6202 Golden Forest Drive. RSVP to Elizabeth at email@example.com or Kendra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you enjoy social event planning? Do you want to improve the community you live in? Consider joining the Civic Committee! The Civic Committee hosts about six social events for the neighborhood per year.
We are a diverse group of both long-time residents and new residents, who want to make Forest West a connected and caring community. Please contact Kendra or Elizabeth, for more information, or to join the Civic Committee.

A note from Evelyn Miley
In the last newsletter delivered to your home, our Board advised newsletters will now be received by email or postal mail. This is excellent news! We had home delivery by block captains for many years; as your general distributor, I was so grateful for everyone’s help — and thank both past and present Block Captains. A special thank you for the following Block Captains for hanging in there all these many years: Cindy Bamisch, Gene Hall, Millard Peoples, Valette Carey, Anna Kinton, Robbie Mouton, Charlotte Martin, Margaret Oliver, Kirk Waldron, Cecil Burdick, Nan Whomes, Bob Kiber, Josephine Choy, and Ginger Garwood.
Forest West also wishes to thank you, Evelyn, for your many years of stewardship!
